Gillson Sciences is proud to announce that Tim Bochula, President, has been appointed to serve on one of the United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP)’s prestigious Expert Committees for the 2025–2030 cycle. This appointment acknowledges Tim’s profound scientific expertise and dedication to advancing global standards for high-quality medicines and ingredients.
USP officially announced the rosters of its 28 Expert Committees on July 16, 2025, selecting over 350 distinguished volunteers from a competitive pool of nearly 5,000 applicants across 128 countries. These committees play a vital role in USP’s mission to improve public health by developing and maintaining rigorous standards for medicines, dietary supplements, and food ingredients used worldwide.
Tim will contribute to USP’s standards-setting process alongside other scientific leaders, FDA liaisons, and global regulators. His committee assignment reflects Gillson Sciences’ growing influence in pharmaceutical innovation and quality assurance. USP standards are recognized in more than 140 countries and published in compendia such as the U.S. Pharmacopeia–National Formulary (USP–NF), the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC), and the Herbal Medicines Compendium (HMC).
